SVC8580 Moving-Column CNC Machining Center

Still choosing a model? Describe your part or operation. A model or drawing is not required for first contact.

SVC8580 is a moving-column CNC machining center with 8500×800 mm X/Y travel, 800 mm standard Z travel and a 9000×800 mm table rated for 9000 kg. Evaluate it for long-part milling and drilling after reviewing the material, fixtures, tool access and supplied configuration.

Review SVC8580 for your part

For milling or drilling long parts, compare this exact model’s table dimensions, load and X/Y/Z travels with the whole part and fixture. Check the X-axis transmission, spindle and column arrangement specified for the exact model and supplied configuration. Confirm material, tool access and loading needs for the actual job; axis travel is not guaranteed usable machining space.

Which configuration and application limits need review?

The table distinguishes 800 mm standard Z travel from the 1000 mm option and gives the corresponding spindle-nose-to-table distances. Standard A is the stated spindle specification; confirm the actual column arrangement, spindle and tooling package before ordering.

The approximate machine mass applies to configuration A. The listed machine length includes the chip conveyor; confirm the complete installation drawing and service clearances. Axis travel does not guarantee usable space for a finished part and its fixtures.

Material grade, cutting conditions, workholding, tool access and any loading or automation equipment require engineering review. CNC control does not by itself establish automatic part loading or unattended production. The 0.001 mm minimum feed increment is not positioning accuracy or a finished-part tolerance.

You can contact Tiezheng without a selected model or drawing. Describe the part, machining task and quantity if known. Agree a channel for confidential drawings later, and confirm configuration, acceptance, installation, training and after-sales responsibilities directly. Formal configuration and quotation are confirmed by the contact person.

Questions before choosing this moving-column machine

Does axis travel determine the maximum finished-part size?

No. Compare the full part and fixtures with the table dimensions, load and travel, then check tool reach, clamping, supports and collision clearances. Engineering must confirm the usable machining envelope.

Are both Z-axis options included?

No. The standard Z travel is 800 mm; 1000 mm is an option. Agree the supplied version and its spindle-to-table distances rather than combining figures from different configurations.

Does 0.001 mm mean the machine holds that part tolerance?

No. It is the minimum feed increment. Positioning accuracy, repeatability and finished-part tolerance are separate quantities. Confirm the part, fixture, tools, process and acceptance conditions.

Which materials and automation can be supplied?

Provide the exact material grade, features, production quantity and loading method. Suitability, tooling and any loading or integration equipment require engineering confirmation.

Can I contact Tiezheng before choosing a model or preparing a drawing?

Yes. Describe the part and the milling or drilling task in your own words. Add dimensions, material and quantity if known. Confidential drawings can follow through an agreed channel.
