What is this machine used for?
DA980 is a CNC engraving and milling machine with listed X/Y travels of 900*800 mm and Z travel of 350 mm. Compare the table, load and spindle data with your part and fixture. The BT30 tool-magazine block is optional. Confirm the supplied spindle, tooling, material and any automation with engineering; travel figures do not establish usable machining space.

Which configuration needs confirmation?
The listed ER spindle interfaces are standard/optional alternatives; do not assume that both are supplied. The six BT30/tool-magazine rows describe an optional tool-magazine configuration, including its interface, type, capacity, change time and tool limits. Confirm the complete matching spindle, magazine, holders and accessories before ordering.
The listed motor connection refers to direct coupling of the X/Y/Z-axis motors. It does not state a direct-drive spindle. Positioning accuracy, repeatability and minimum input increment are machine specifications, not guaranteed finished-part tolerances.
Engineering questions before selecting DA980
Are the ER interfaces and BT30 tool magazine all standard equipment?
No. The listed ER interfaces are alternatives, while the BT30 tool-magazine block is optional. Confirm the complete supplied spindle/magazine configuration and its tool limits; do not combine different options into one assumed specification.
Do travel and table-load figures determine the largest finished part?
No. Check the part together with its fixture, tool reach, collision clearances and loading arrangement. Confirm the usable machining envelope and load conditions with engineering.
Does the minimum input increment guarantee that finished-part tolerance?
No. Input increment, positioning accuracy, repeatability and finished-part tolerance are different measures. Agree the material, tools, fixture, machining process and acceptance conditions separately.
What if the material, process or automation has not been decided?
Describe the part or intended operation first. A selected model and a drawing are optional for initial contact. Material suitability, cutting conditions, workholding, tool access and any loading or automation integration need engineering confirmation.
You can describe the part or intended operation before choosing a model. A model, drawing and company name are optional for first contact. Add dimensions, material grade, quantity and fixture details if known.
