What working setup does the ME1100 provide?
The table measures 1000 × 1000 mm, X/Y travel is 1100 × 1100 mm and Z travel is 400 mm. Spindle nose to table distance is 50-450 mm. Check the fixture, drill length and access to every hole against these dimensions; axis travel alone does not establish the maximum workpiece size.
How does this model compare with other ME machines?
ME1100, ME2200 and ME3200 list 400 mm Z travel and 50-450 mm spindle-to-table distance; ME4200 lists 500 mm and 50-550 mm. Table sizes increase from 1000 × 1000 to 4000 × 4000 mm, with corresponding maximum loads of 2000, 4000, 7000 and 12000 kg.
