What is this machine used for?
Which parts and operations should be reviewed?
Evaluate this model for box-shaped and prismatic parts that need milling, drilling or boring. Share the part drawing or a short description, dimensions, mass, material grade, features and quantity. Workholding, tool access and any table-indexing requirements must be confirmed for the actual process; the model name alone does not prove suitability.
Confirm the table, spindle and tool storage separately
The stated table size is optional and does not establish pallet count or a pallet changer. Confirm the belt-spindle speed selection for the order. The optional electric spindle is an alternative configuration: do not combine its speed with the belt-spindle values or assume the same motor rating. Disc-and-arm and chain-storage capacities are ordering choices, not simultaneous installed capacity. Ask for the supplied configuration in writing.
Check the complete machining setup
Axis travel, table swing diameter and load per table are separate specifications. Verify the part, fixture, cutting tools, spindle position and all clearances together; travel does not guarantee usable machining space. Minimum input increment is not positioning accuracy or finished-part tolerance. Table indexing, tool-diameter clearances, accuracy conditions and automation need engineering confirmation. Tool changing does not establish automatic workpiece loading or unattended production.
Start with your part or operation
An exact model and a drawing are optional for first contact. Describe what you want to machine; add dimensions, material and quantity if known. Your representative confirms the configuration, manufacturing and inspection scope, delivery, installation, training, service arrangements and formal quotation directly. Confidential drawings can be exchanged through an agreed channel after contact.
Questions before choosing a horizontal machining center
Can it machine box-shaped parts on several sides?
It is a candidate for this type of work. Compare the table size, load, travels and tool access with the actual part and fixture. Confirm table indexing and the machining sequence before relying on a multi-face process.
Does the table information include automatic pallet exchange?
No. A table size and load rating do not establish pallet count or automatic pallet exchange. Confirm the required workholding and part-handling equipment separately.
Which spindle and tool capacity will be supplied?
Agree one spindle configuration and the required tool-storage arrangement for the order. Belt and optional electric-spindle speeds are not combined. The alternative tool capacities are not all supplied together.
Can the machine cut my material and meet my tolerances?
Provide the exact material grade, operations, critical features, tooling and output requirements. The process and acceptance conditions need engineering review; spindle speed, travel or minimum input increment alone cannot guarantee finished-part tolerances.
Can I make contact before choosing a model or preparing a drawing?
Yes. Describe the part or operation in plain language. Dimensions, material and quantity help if known, and details or confidential drawings can follow through an agreed channel.
