Machine Selector
Find Machines for Your Machining Requirement
Browse CNC machines by the part and operations you have in mind. Compare up to three models using their published specifications. You can ask about a model or describe your part without choosing one.
How to use this selector
- Selector output
- Published models and a focused inquiry brief
- Not included
- Guaranteed capacity, cycle time or quotation
- Final review needs
- Drawing, tolerance, volume and destination requirements
What do you need to make?
Start with a familiar task, or choose “Need process review” if you do not know the machining terms.
- Machine faces and pockets
- Machine several faces
- Review a large or heavy part
- Turn a shaft or sleeve
- Turn a disc, flange or ring
- Make holes and threads
Published models to review
69 models in this catalogue view. This is a specification shortlist, not an engineering approval or a fit ranking.
Your engineering requirements
- Primary process
- Drilling and tapping
- Workpiece type
- Prismatic machined part
Material, loading, tooling, clearances, tolerances and cycle time require model-specific engineering confirmation. A missing specification is not a zero or an approval.
Choosing among these models
For holes and threads, compare the published travels, spindle and tool capacity. Hole sizes, depths and thread requirements help define the tooling and configuration.
I do not know the process. Where should I start?
Choose the task that sounds most like your part, or leave the process open. Tell us what needs to be made and what you want to improve; you do not need to know the machine category.
What differences matter when I compare models?
Read like-for-like labels and units, then check table/load, travels, spindle/tooling and the stated configuration. An optional value is not the supplied configuration. Axis travel alone does not confirm part fit, and positioning accuracy is not a guaranteed finished-part tolerance.
How are material and automation used?
They describe the requirement carried into your inquiry. Material and hardness, loading method, tooling and workholding are reviewed together for the proposed configuration. Leave unknown items open; choosing a material or robot loading is not a compatibility confirmation.
Do I need a model or drawing before asking?
No. Describe the part, material, operations and quantity you know. A drawing is optional for the first contact, and you can continue without choosing any model.
Decision method
Common machine selection questions
What should I specify for a cast-iron valve body?
If available, share the drawing, cast-iron grade, casting dimensions, bores, faces and required operations. Describe how the casting will be located and clamped. Compare each candidate’s published travels, table dimensions and load separately. Selecting cast iron and valve body records your requirements; engineering must confirm the material, tooling and proposed setup.
How do I assess drilling and tapping for aluminium parts?
Describe the alloy, hole diameters and depths, thread specifications, part dimensions and batch size, where known. Compare the published travels, spindle specifications and tool interface for each candidate. The material filter is an inquiry input, not machining approval. Engineering must check the tools, workholding and operation sequence before confirming suitability or a cycle-time target.
What matters when loading shafts manually or with handling assistance?
If known, provide the shaft diameter, length, weight, gripping surfaces and batch size. State whether loading will be manual or assisted, and describe the available handling equipment. Compare published turning limits and travels separately from fixture and support needs. Engineering must review loading access, workholding and the supplied configuration; a loading choice does not mean handling equipment is included.
Can I request robot loading before choosing a machine?
Yes. Describe the part dimensions and weight, gripping approach, batch size and intended loading sequence, where known. Add any existing robot or cell constraints. Keep these requirements with the machine shortlist for engineering review. Selecting robot loading does not confirm a compatible interface, an included robot or an approved integrated cell; those details require a separately agreed configuration.
What should be verified after the shortlist?
Part and process
Confirm drawings, material, stock condition, operation sequence, datums, tolerance and inspection method.
Machine configuration
Confirm work envelope, spindle, tooling, fixture, loading, chip and coolant handling, controls and safety scope.
Project acceptance
Define cycle-time assumptions, sample trials, acceptance criteria, documentation, packing, destination and service expectations.

Which machine routes can I compare?
Compare vertical, horizontal and gantry machining centers, drilling and tapping centers, vertical lathes and published turning models. Five-axis, engraving and combined turn-mill projects remain available through the complete catalogue and drawing-led review.

What information improves the next review?
Prepare the drawing or sample photo, material, part dimensions, annual volume, batch size, current process, target cycle time, automation target, inspection method and destination market. Confidential files should use a controlled exchange route after first contact.
